A lot of Whiskey Creek and Villas Estates was built between 1968 and 1978 — that means CPVC supply lines that are now end-of-life, plaster (not drywall) on interior walls, and original fluorescent ballasts in the kitchens.

End-of-life CPVC repairs
Original CPVC supply lines from the 70s go brittle and crack at the elbows. We don't patch — we replace the whole run we can reach with PEX-A using a ProPEX expansion tool, then transition back to CPVC at the next solid joint with a brass coupling.
Plaster wall repair (not drywall)
Most Villas interior walls are 3-coat plaster on metal lath. Drywall patches don't bond to plaster. We use a setting-type basecoat to fill, then a topcoat of veneer plaster troweled to match the original sand finish.
Pre-inspection punch lists
GFCI install at every kitchen and bath outlet (most original outlets are 2-prong), smoke detectors hard-wired into existing knock-out boxes, and dryer vent re-routed with rigid metal — not the foil flex builders used.
Patching plaster without it cracking back through
The mistake on a plaster wall is using lightweight joint compound. It shrinks, it doesn't bond to the lime in the original plaster, and the patch outline shows after the second coat of paint.
Right answer: USG Structo-Lite basecoat to within 1/8" of the surface, then USG Diamond veneer plaster troweled flush, then a sand-finish skim with a sponge float to match the surrounding texture. It takes longer and it disappears.
